There is a real person at the other end of this form. Use it for corrections, questions about anything we’ve published, or business enquiries — the message goes straight to the inbox of the person who writes the guides.
Corrections are the most useful thing you can send us
Fares go up, kitchens close, museums change their winter hours. If you’ve been to Glasgow recently and found something on this site that no longer matches reality, please tell us. The most useful message includes the page you were reading, the detail that’s wrong, and what it should say — for example, “the Subway day ticket price on your transport guide is last year’s”. We check it against the operator and update the article.
Things we genuinely can’t help with
We are an independent publisher with no connection to any Glasgow venue, transport operator or tourism body, so there are some things it will be faster to take elsewhere:
- Bookings of any kind. We cannot reserve a hotel room, a distillery tour, a restaurant table or a Celtic Connections ticket, and we cannot change or cancel one you’ve made.
- Lost property and travel disruption. If you’ve left something on the Subway or a bus, SPT handles that; for trains it’s ScotRail. Contacting them directly will get you an answer far quicker than we can.
- Anything to do with an individual venue. Complaints, refunds, accessibility arrangements and group bookings need to go to the venue itself. We’re happy to point you at the right website.
- Personalised itinerary planning. We don’t build custom trips one-to-one. Our trip planning guides are where that work lives, and they’re free.
Press, permissions and business
Use the same form for press enquiries, requests to quote or reproduce something we’ve written, or image permissions. One thing to save you time: we don’t publish sponsored posts, paid links or guest articles written to place a link, so pitches of that kind won’t get a yes however they’re framed.
Send us a message
Everything except the message itself is there so we can reply. We don’t add addresses to a mailing list, because we don’t have one.
How long we take
Most messages get a reply within a few days. Corrections are usually dealt with faster, because fixing the article takes less time than writing back about it. If you don’t hear anything within a week, it’s worth sending again — occasionally a message gets caught by a spam filter at our end.
What happens to the information you send through this form is covered in our privacy policy.
